WealthTech Mobile: Native Performance on Hybrid Stack

The Challenge
W.G's app suffered from 'Jank'. As the user base grew, the charts lagged, and navigation felt heavy. The internal web team struggled with mobile-specific optimizations like bridge serialization and memory management. They needed immediate injection of senior mobile talent to fix critical performance blockers before a major marketing push.
The Solution
We deployed 4 Senior React Native engineers. We focused on 'surgical' optimizations. We moved heavy computations (portfolio rebalancing logic) from the JS thread to the UI thread using Reanimated 2 and JSI bindings. We implemented GraphQL Subscriptions to push data only when changed, reducing network overhead by 60%.
Architectural Strategy
Refactored React Native architecture using the New Architecture (Fabric). Replaced REST polling with WebSockets via AppSync.
