The Challenge
E.G needed to replace a third-party classroom tool (which was expensive and limited) with an in-house solution. The challenge was syncing the whiteboard drawing state across 50 students in real-time with low latency.
The Solution
GTEMAS provided 3 Senior Frontend Engineers specialized in WebSockets and Canvas API. We built a custom whiteboard engine using operational transformation (OT) to handle concurrent edits. We integrated WebRTC for high-quality, low-latency video streaming directly within the browser.
Architectural Strategy
React frontend with Konva.js for canvas. Node.js WebSocket server with Redis Adapter for horizontal scaling.
Impact & Achievements
